ThinkData launch event for the 2012 Data Protection Day

The ISS is proud to announce the launch of ThinkData on the occasion of the 2012 Data Protection Day.

The objective of ThinkData is to raise awareness on the issue of data protection and transparency within the organization through an interactive service.
Carried out by an interdisciplinary working group (ThinkGroup on Data, Society and Transparency) as part of a think tank on Service Science and Innovation (ThinkServices), it is based on a storytelling approach allowing people to discover and explore the issue of data protection and transparency from different viewpoints : data, business practices and organizational roles.
This service to be released on January 27, 2012 at 10:00 am CET, will be the occasion of a public launch event featuring in addition to the demo of ThinkData, a speech by
Jean-Philippe Walter, Deputy Commissioner (Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner) and a member of the Working Group on the theme : "Risques et enjeux des technologies pour les droits et libertés fondamentales". This event is open to the public and everyone is welcome to attend. Registration is free and can be found here with the complete program.

Currently only in French, the ThinkGroup is already hard at work planning the next version of ThinkData which will be multilingual, multi-jurisdictional, collaborative and allow for a personalized experience.
