Two ISS teams are among the winners of the TPG challenge

 

The research groups QoL and TaM amoung the winners of the Open Data TPG Challenge.

The QoL group is second with the UnCrowdTPG project:

the UnCrowdTPG smartphone application provides you with the up-to-date schedule for your transportation itinerary options enhanced with information about the size of the crowds at the stops and aboard the vehicles (i.e., tram, bus), such that you know what you can expect at what time and where. 

 

The TaM group received a special mention with the Roule ton film project:

The mobile Roule ton film application allow user to listen to movies while using public transportation. Each line “contains” a movie. Each time a user get in the tram 12 (for example) he gets a movie about the history of Geneva. The application detects automatically when the user exit the tram and stops the movie. Next time the user jump in the tram 12, the movie will resume where it previously stopped.
